Department of Research

The Department of Research is responsible for the agenda related to the scientific research activities of CXI. Activities are mainly focused on the preparation of strategy documents and the advancement of science, research and development at CXI.

Area of focus

Managing CXI research to support and develop research themes, activities and infrastructure at CXI.
Responsibility for developing a methodology for evaluating the results achieved by CXI's research departments in order to assess the quality and contribution of the results to CXI and the whole of TUL, and related responsibility for allocating institutional support to the various CXI research departments and contributing to motivating the development of specific research at CXI.
Collecting and processing data related to research results for the purpose of evaluating scientific research activities at CXI and TUL as a whole.
Collaborating with the Rector's Office on the submission of information to the Results Information Register (RIV), notifications for intellectual property management, as well as the selection of results for Module 1 and Module 2 according to Methodology 17+.
Ensuring evidence in the field of science and research.
Maintaining control of the records of science and research results for CXI in the publications.tul.cz database.
Coordination with the Information Systems Unit for the recording of publication outputs.
Organization of selection procedures for scientific research positions for individual research departments in the C1 - C4 category and for the positions of heads of research departments at CXI.
Cooperation in the submission and solution of scientific research and development projects, organization of seminars, workshops and conferences on national and international scale.
