Polish Marshal of the Lubusz Voivodeship Visits CXI TUL

On Wednesday, 28 January, the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovation (CXI) was visited by Sebastian Ciemnoczołowski, Marshal of the Lubusz Voivodeship. The meeting was also attended by the former Rector of the Technical University of Liberec, Assoc. Prof. Miroslav Březina, the incoming Rector Assoc. Prof. Aleš Kocourek, and representatives of the Liberec Region, led by Governor Martin Půta.

The main objective of the visit was to present the university’s technological and innovation capacities and to identify areas for concrete and long-term cooperation. Discussions focused on linking research with practice, supporting innovation, the digitalisation of manufacturing processes, and solutions with a tangible impact on companies’ competitiveness.

The Marshal also presented the research and technological capacities of the Lubusz Voivodeship and key industrial sectors with potential for joint projects. Promising areas of cooperation included the defence industry, space applications and the semiconductor sector.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on follow-up cooperation. After the discussion, the delegation visited the 3D technologies laboratories and the vehicle and engine laboratories, where concrete examples of applied research and technological solutions for industrial practice were presented.
