Research Department

The Research Department handles the agenda related to the scientific and research activities of CXI. Its activities focus mainly on preparing strategic and development documents concerning science, research, and development at CXI.

The research areas in the department focus mainly on:

Management of research at CXI for the purpose of supporting and developing research topics, activities, and infrastructure at CXI.
Responsibility for developing the methodology for evaluating the results achieved by CXI research departments, with the aim of assessing the quality and impact of these results for CXI and the entire TUL, as well as the related responsibility for distributing institutional support among individual CXI research departments and contributing to the motivation for the development of specific research at CXI.
Collecting and processing data related to science and research results for the purpose of evaluating research activities at CXI and throughout TUL.
Cooperation with the Rector’s Office in submitting information to the Register of Information on Results (RIV), in notifications concerning intellectual property management, and in the selection of results for Module 1 and Module 2 in accordance with Methodology 17+.

Ensuring record-keeping in the field of science and research.
Managing and overseeing the record of science and research results for CXI in the database publikace.tul.cz.
Coordination with the information systems department regarding the recording of publication outputs.
Organization of selection procedures for research positions in categories C1–C4 for individual research departments, as well as for the positions of heads of CXI research departments.
Cooperation in the submission and implementation of scientific, research, and development projects, as well as in the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences at both national and international levels.
