Career development is part of the CXI 2030 Strategy. We connect expertise across laboratories and departments. Internal seminars and the sharing of experience help researchers get to know the work of their colleagues, their projects and opportunities for collaboration.

Senior researchers assess the staff they supervise on a regular and systematic basis in accordance with the Director’s Directive on Assessment and Career Development of CXI Staff. The assessment form includes an individual career development plan for each employee.

We build on the European Competence Framework for Researchers (ResearchComp) and the European Competence Framework for Research Managers (RM Comp). Managers at CXI systematically develop their management competences, including leadership and staff development. We have a single platform for staff training.
