Ethics and Research Integrity
At CXI, the principles of responsible research are embedded in the Code of Good Research Practice and the Code of Good Administrative Practice. Our support system also includes the option to turn to an ombudsperson, for example on matters of freedom of scientific research, discrimination or equal access. At TUL, ethical principles are part of the Code of Ethics.
Open Science
CXI supports the principles of Open Science. Rector’s Directive No. 2/2023 Open Science and its annex set out the framework for the management of open data at TUL in line with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) and the principle “as open as possible, as closed as necessary”. CXI also offers support in data management – a Data Steward. CXI also organises Open Science Days.
Gender Equality
CXI promotes equal opportunities through its Gender Equality Plan (GEP), developed in cooperation between the CXI Human Resources Development Department and the TUL Personnel and Payroll Department. The aim is to foster gender balance in CXI activities, in project and contract research teams, and in managerial positions.
